It also seems likely that Sarah BUCKNER who married Jesse RICE in 1865 is
really the widowed Sarah ROSE.  See 1870 Lewis Co. census.  The 1850
Greenup census with James agrees with this.  Interestingly, Overton
BUCKNER's first son was named James and James' first son was named
Overton.

(Born in the same year and county as his uncle Overton M. BUCKNER's son,
Overton BUCKNER, he may have died young since this other Overton was
living in 1889 and no evidence of the present Overton has surfaced besides
his birth record.  There is a possibility that these two are identical and
that information giving Overton as Overton's son neglects to mention that
he was adopted.)
