     All,

     Looking for information about Presley BUCKNER (1769-1838) who was one of
     the signers of the petition to create a State of Franklin. On 24 May 1789, in
     Sullivan Tenn, he married Nancy Cox (1771-1836) who was born in Halifax, VA.
     He and his wife died in Morgan Co, Indiana. They had the following children: Nancy
       Buckner Johnson (1791-1876), John Buckner (1792-1856),
     George Buckner (1793-), Thomas Buckner (1795-), Ezra Buckner
     (1797-1861),
     Jehu Buckner (1799-1879), Rebecca Buckner Stitt (1801-1874), William
       Buckner
     (1803-1844).
